Appointments
Office Hours and Appointments
Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday. In our practice, patients are seen by appointment except in the case of emergencies.
(301) 856-1682.
New patients should report at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to their appointment time for registration purposes. This will allow you and other patients to be seen in a timely fashion.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible. (301) 856-1682
Please bring a current ID, insurance card, claim forms, referrals, disability forms, or any other form required for your appointment. You may download some of these forms from this website in advance of your visit. We recommend that you print out and complete an
Authorization form
and
Registration form
prior to your appointment. If applicable, please complete a
Worker's
Compensation form (refer to the section discussing
Worker's Compensation for further details). If your visit involves any legal implications, please complete a
Report of Auto Accident/Legal/Liability form.
In addition, please bring a complete list of medications, allergies, related x-rays, MRIs, lab results, and any other related tests or records. We require that these records be available at your first appointment. If you request to have them mailed, please be sure that they will arrive before your appointment. You may want to pick them up and bring them with you to your appointment.
Checkout Procedures
At the conclusion of your visit with your physician, your physician may give you prescriptions, instructions, or other recommendations. We encourage you to ask any questions at that time. When your visit is completed, please stop to see your physician's receptionist to set up your follow-up appointment and then proceed to our check out counter where our staff will review with you the charges for the services provided that day.
Telephone Calls
When you call our office to speak with your physician, please understand that circumstances may not allow this at the time of your call. The medical secretary for your physician will ask for your name, telephone number and the reason for your call. If your call is of an urgent nature, please let the operator know. (301) 856-1682.
Emergency Care
If you should need emergency orthopaedic care after normal practice office hours, weekends or holidays, please call our main office number, (301) 856-1682. One of our
physicians is always on call to provide you with immediate medical care. You may also go to the emergency room at Southern Maryland Hospital, where one of
our physicians will be contacted by the hospital.
