Dr. Shridharani is a Spine Surgeon and the Director of the Spine Center at Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedic Institute. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. He then further subspecialized in the field of Spine Surgery at the University of California—San Diego, which is widely regarded as a top Spine Surgery training program.
Dr. Shridharani’s areas of expertise include cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal disorders. His advanced skills include spinal microsurgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, conventional spine surgery, spinal instrumentation, spinal decompression, spinal fusion, and complex spine surgery.
Although Dr. Shridharani’s expertise is primarily surgical, he firmly believes that patients should undergo a trial of nonsurgical treatments such as injections and physical therapy prior to considering spine surgery.
